Do you look tired?

Do people ask why you're angry?

Many people would agree that a few wrinkles around the eyes add expression to their appearance; however, dark circles, droopy eyelids and bags convey an undesirable fatigued appearance. Significant crow's feet, forehead wrinkles and “11” furrows are not kind to ones appearance.

That is why thousands of people have chosen Destin Plastic Surgery for treatment to get a rested, brighter and more youthful appearance.

Surgery is not always the answer

There are both surgical and non-surgical options to rejuvenate the area around the eyes. A consultation with Dr. Burden or Dr. Ennis will determine the procedures best suited to achieve your desired results.

Non-surgical treatments such as BoTox Cosmetic, Restylane, and Juvederm can help in the early stages of the aging process. Although these treatments are not permanent, Crow's feet, Furrows and Dark circles can be softened and often eliminated with these treatments.

Destin Plastic Surgery is a national leader in non-surgical facial treatments since 1998. We are a Diamond rated office for Botox and Juvederm as well as a training facility for Allergan, the makers of Botox. There is no other facility in the region with comparable experience.

When Surgery is the answer

Surgical procedures to reshape the area around the eyes can help the more advanced signs of aging.

The three most common eye procedures are:

  Lower Eyelid Surgery (lower blepharoplasty)
  Upper Eyelid Surgery (upper blepharoplasty)
Brow or Forehead Lift (endoscopic browlift)

Destin Plastic Surgery is a leader in facial plastic surgery.

Dr W. R. Burden is a pioneer in minimally invasive (endoscopic) facial surgery having performed the University of Florida's first endoscopic browlift in 1994. He later performed Northwest Florida's first endoscopic browlift in 1995 in Fort Walton Beach. Since then he has performed thousands of facial procedures, and has developed advanced techniques of lower eyelid and facial surgery.

Dr Ennis also specializes in endoscopic and minimal incision surgery, which allows him to achieve dramatic results while minimizing visible scars. His artistic eye enables him to envision how subtle changes will have a significant effect on the final outcome. He has won many awards for his art work including first place in the first congressional art show and along with Dr William Burden has authored and is currently writing papers on facial surgery.

A critical portion of the aging process involves the cheek pad (midface). As the cheek pad falls, the lower eyelid droops and the nasolabial folds appear deeper. Note the improvement in the pictures below following surgery by Destin Plastic Surgery.
